Abstract

Infrared spectroscopy was used to evaluate our new Schiff bases of morpholinium-5-amino-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-thiolate salts, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and GC-MS were used to characterise some of them. The biological activity of the produced compounds was tested as an antibacterial against four species of bacteria, two of which are Gram-negative (Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Klebcellacoccus) and two of which are Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus).
