Environmental Awareness and Environmental Attitude of Secondary School Teachers in Terms of Different Variables; A Comparative Analysis

Abstract

      The Purpose of the present study is to comparative analysis of Environmental Awareness and Environmental Attitude of Secondary School Teachers in relation to their Gender and working position like as government and public schools. This research study was conducted on a sample of100 Secondary School teachers including 50 Male and 50 Female teachers working in private and government secondary schools of Meerut District, Affiliated to Utter Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Prayagraj. Environmental Awareness Scale developed by Dr. Seema Dhawan and Taj Environmental Attitude Scale was prepared by Taj Haseen in Hindi and English version, were used to measure Environmental Awareness & Environmental Attitude of Secondary School Teachers. The results indicated that there was significant difference in Environmental Awareness & Environmental Attitude of Secondary School Teachers like as male and female working in Public and Government secondary Schools.
