PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY OF B ED TEACHERS WITH REGARD TO THEIR EXTRAVERSION AND INTRAVERSION

Abstract

      The present study is aimed to comparative analysis of Professional Responsibility of Teacher Educators in relation to their Personality Dimensions and Gender and to find out the interaction effect of these two variables on their Professional Responsibility also. The study was conducted on a sample of 100 Teacher Educators  including 42 Male and 58 Female, 57 Extrovert& 43 Introvert Teacher Educators of both subject of group, working in Government Aided and  Self-finance  B Ed Colleges ,Affiliated to C C S University Meerut. Professional Responsibility Scale was developed by Dr J S Bhardwaj & Dr Anshu Sharma and H. J. Eysenk:s Maudsley Personality Inventory( MPI)  Prepared by S Jalota & S. D. Kapoor in Hindi were used to measure  Professional Responsibility of Teacher Educators and Personality Dimensions i.e. Extraversion and Introversion. The results indicated that there was no significant difference in Professional Responsibility of Male and Female Teacher Educators and found significant difference in Professional Responsibility of Extrovert and Introvert  and type of of B Ed  colleges. The interaction effect of Gender and Personality on Professional Responsibility was also found significant.
