A Study of Job Satisfaction of Physical Education Teachers Working in various physical education colleges of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University
Abstract
Job-satisfaction of Physical Education Teachers is essential for the purpose of effective teaching learning process. The objective of this study was to measure the Job satisfaction of Physical Education Teachers working in various Physical Education Colleges of Sant Gagde Baba Amravati University. Sample comprised of 100 physical education teachers from 10 colleges (granted and non-granted) were selected through simple random method for the study. Job satisfaction scale prepared by the investigator himself on the basis of "Likert five point Scale' (1932) was used as a tool for data collection. Mean, S. D. and T-Test was used to analyse the data. Followings were the main findings of the study: - 1) The Physical Education Teachers working in various Physical Education Colleges affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati university, are well satisfied with their job. 2) Sportsman Physical Education Teachers are more satisfied with their job than non-sportsman physical education teachers. 3) There was be no significant difference found between the job satisfaction of granted and non-granted Physical Education Teachers working in various Physical Education Colleges affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University.
